Australia’s Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa has 7 categories that are listed below:

  1. Business Innovation Stream: This visa allows you to operate a new or current business in Australia. You must have a nomination from an Australian State, Austrade, or Territory government agency.
  2. Investor stream: You must have at least AUD 1.5 million in an Australian state or territory, with the skill and competence to maintain your business and investment activity there.
  3. Significant investor stream: To apply for this visa, you must have at least AUD 5 million in investments as proof. You will also require a nomination from an Australian State, Austrade, or Territory government agency.  
  4. Business innovation extension stream: Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa holders can extend their stay in Australia for two additional years. To apply for an extension, individuals must have had the Business Innovation stream visa for at least three years and have a nomination from an Australian State, Austrade, or Territory government agency.
  5. Significant investor extension stream: Significant Investor stream visa holders can extend their stay in Australia for up to 4 additional years. To apply for an extension, individuals must have had the Significant Investor stream for a minimum of 3 years and have a nomination from an Australian State, Austrade, or Territory government agency.
  6. Premium Investor stream: To apply for this visa, you must have an Austrade nomination and an investment worth AUD 15 million in Australian enterprises or philanthropic contributions.
  7. Entrepreneur stream: You can carry out and conduct entrepreneurial activities in Australia under the Entrepreneur stream.

 

How to apply for a Provisional Business Visa?
