Canada Express Entry Draws is a streamlined process that helps in selecting eligible candidates to apply for Canada PR.  Applicants are selected based on their Comprehensive Ranking System or CRS scores. It allows candidates to live and work in any Canadian province or territory.

What is an Express Entry Draw?

Express Entry draw is conducted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)  to select candidates for invitation to apply for Canada PR. The draws are conducted every two weeks status.

There are various reasons why an Express Entry draw may be delayed. It can be delayed due to policy changes or technical system updates.

Historical Express Entry Draw Results

In 2023, changes were made to in the structure of Express Entry draws. Category-based selection, new codes of NOC TEER, more frequent draws were conducted. 
The recent draw types are influencing the cut-off scores and the number of applicants invited in  general draws. 
Earlier the draw types were divided into the categories given below:

What Happens After You're Selected in an Express Entry Draw?

Steps to Take After Receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA)


When a candidate receives an ITA, they must submit a duly filled application for permanent residence with the required documents within 60 days. The step-by-step activities after receiving an IT are given below. 
Step 1: Submit a duly filled application and the necessary documents. It is considered as accepting the ITA. 
Step 2: Receiving the Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) by the candidate after receiving ITA.  AOR confirms that the candidate's application is being reviewed.
Step 3: The IRCC evaluates the application for eligibility and completeness before authorizing the candidate to obtain Canadian permanent citizenship.
